Courthouse Facilitator

The courthouse facilitator assists parties who do not have representation from an attorney to process their own paperwork, understand court procedures and schedule court hearings in family law matters. Family law matters are legal cases such as divorce, legal separation, child custody, child support, and modification of child support and parenting plans.

The courthouse facilitator is not an attorney and may not give you legal advice, represent you in court, or complete the forms for you. Parties needing legal advice are urged to consult an attorney.

Kathy Hagn, courthouse facilitator in San Juan County Superior Court, is available for appointments from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Tuesdays. Call (360) 378-2163 to schedule an appointment. There is a fee of $20 per one-hour appointment.
