San Juan County Park is open for day use and overnight
camping on San Juan Island. Reservations for Summer camping (May - September) are
strongly recommended at this popular campground. See
Camping for information on making reservations.
This beautiful park, located on the west side of San Juan Island, includes rocky
bluffs and gravel beaches that overlook Haro Strait with views to the Straits of
San Juan de Fuca and Vancouver Island. Most sites have water views across an
open meadow surrounded by trees. Park amenities include water, flush toilets,
small picnic shelter, picnic tables, beach and boat launch.

Site #18 at San Juan County Park will continue to function as a walk-in site. Only two passenger vehicles will be allowed to park
near the entrance to the campsite--
NO campers, camper vans, RV's, or trailers of
any type will be allowed if you are using site #18; please select a site designated
for RV's.
As a safety item, vehicles must be parked at least five
feet (5') from the edge of the park road.

The park is open year 'round with reduced fees and services during winter (November
1-March 31), when all sites are on a first-come,
first-served basis only.

Reservations are strongly recommended for summer camping.
Reservations accepted only between 5 and 90 days in advance of stay.
Reservations require full campsite payment plus a $7.00 non-refundable reservation
fee by Visa or MasterCard for each campsite reserved.
RESERVATION PAYMENTS AND FEES ARE NOT TRANSFERABLE AND ARE, AT MOST, ONLY PARTIALLY
REFUNDABLE.
