Nominate County employees who have found ways to make the workplace safer
The nominated employee or team should have promoted safety in a tangible way,
like bringing trainings to your department, recognizing and fixing or helping to
fix, through notification, a hazard in the workplace, or otherwise promoting
accident prevention and safety in your workplace. The employee(s) can be from
staff or management.
Please limit your recommendation to 30 words or less.

Briefly describe what the nominee did
to promote accident prevention or safety in the workplace. The County Safety
Committee will review and approve the nominees. After the votes are counted at
the end of June, the awardees will be presented with recognition awards.
Weighed in the award process
is the number of votes received; the type of steps the employee or team took to
promote safety; whether or not the employee or team has had a job-related
accident within the past six months; and other relevant factors.
