Permitting Goals
- To provide information to customers in a proactive manner, helping them to arrive at decisions consistent with the San Juan County
Mission Statement (Page 9).

The Pollution prevention program provides free technical assistance and information
to help businesses navigate the complex network of state and local environmental rules,
regulations, and responsibilities; and improves their effectiveness at protecting the health
of people and the environment. It provides a local resource for businesses that
have questions about waste disposal and activities
that generate potential pollutants.
