Free Child Support Services Available

• Do you need to change the amount of child support you receive or pay?
• Is a parent refusing to pay child support?
• Do you have a child born outside of marriage and need to establish child support?

If your answer is yes to any of these questions and would like help, call the Washington State Division of Child Support (DCS) at 1-800-729-7580.

DCS provides free assistance with establishing, modifying and collecting child support. The division will also help establish paternity for children who are born outside of marriage. DCS will provide these services even if the noncustodial parent lives out of state.

If your child support case requires the help of an attorney in San Juan County, DCS will refer the case to the San Juan County Prosecutor's Family Support Unit. Contact Deputy Prosecuting Attorney Alan Marriner at 378-4101 with questions about how DCS can help you.
