Lopez Island
Exciting changes are coming to Odlin Park in 2013!

Construction is currently planned for late summer-early fall.

We are not closing the park, though there may be service disruptions throughout construction. This may affect your regular use of Odlin Park during this time. Check this space before making your plans to visit the park.

NEW Group Campground at Odlin Park for 2013!

NOW OPEN!!

The new campground, nestled among statuesque evergreen trees, offers 8 camping ‘pods’ that can be rented for your group. Any number of pods can be rented to accommodate your group, up to 50 people maximum. There’s even room to park a large capacity bus! Each pod has a picnic table and room for a couple of tents & two vehicles. The area has its own restroom building (vault toilets) and water spigot. Foot trails link you to the rest of the park facilities. A new picnic shelter and masonry campfire ring will be added later, in time for 2014 camping.

If you’re thinking about bringing your large or organized group to Odlin Park in 2013, e-mail or call now to request your planning materials -- parks@sanjuanco.com or 360-378-8420 (if we can’t answer, leave us a message with your name,  e-mail address, and phone number).

Lopez Island, historically the agricultural island, is relatively flat, open and pastoral, with four County day parks and one County camping park. Islanders still wave at each passing car, and if you are attentive you’ll discover that each driver has a distinct wave, some favoring the "index-finger move up," others an enthusiastic handful. Lopez has an area of 29.5 square miles. Population is about 2,400. Want more information about Lopez Island? Visit the Lopez Chamber of Commerce website here.
